CONCEALED.
A series of triptychs shed light on a confined emotional plight; confined either by force or by choice. A journey through an unimaginable void to the other side where voices are distorted by the length of space and severance.

A series of triptychs that is intended to mimic a trapped emotional state. It is an idea imbued with a sense of self reflection through personal experience.
This nine-photo series explores three distinct looks of the subject who has been strategically placed behind a glass panel. The glass panels have varying textures in each triptych to serve the purpose of emphasizing concealment. The glass itself, a simulation of a human face with invariably altering opacity, however fragile, nonetheless.
Ultimately, these photographs shed light on a confined emotional plight; confined either by force or by choice. It is a journey through an unimaginable void to the other side where voices are distorted by the length of space and severance. A place where vehemence is less tangible as its only inwardly acknowledged.
Behind The Glass where the deepest reservoir of feeling resides.
